Depending on the application scenario, it is available with or without a safety laser scanner, whereby the model without a scanner can only be used in closed areas without mixed traffic. The mobile robot offers a maximum speed of 4 m/s in a straight line. As the chassis is mounted on an oscillating bearing, it can also negotiate ramps with a gradient of up to 17%. A differential drive enables it to turn on the spot, even on inclined surfaces. Depending on whether the AGV is to operate on inclined surfaces or not, the maximum topload is 50 kg including load handling attachment on the incline and 85 kg horizontally. An agent-based control system is used for communication between the MTR and its environment.
