Conveyor systems:
Flexible alignment of the load carrier
The Agumos Q40 from Melkus Mechatronic is an automated guided vehicle system developed for the automated transportation of small parts, which are often transported in stackable 60 x 40 cm boxes.
With a footprint of 40 x 40 x 40 cm, the system can also be used in narrow production aisles and warehouse aisles. The ability to flexibly adjust the height and direction of rotation of the load carrier should ensure a high level of ergonomics and make it easier to adapt to existing facilities. A 360-degree rotation function of the load carrier was developed to keep the load in a defined alignment, even if the transporter changes its direction of travel. An integrated laser scanner ensures a safe stop in front of people and unexpected obstacles. According to the manufacturer, the free-moving industrial truck with a payload of 60 kg is quickly ready for use thanks to variable, optical track guidance and can be easily integrated into existing systems. It communicates with the mobile operating device via radio and with the control system via WLAN. Transport orders can be managed here.
