Displays:
Usable despite wet fingers
The Interact displays of the "VSX" series from Sensor-Technik Wiedemann meet the demand for robustness through high durability of the housing and resistance of the electronics to electromagnetic influences.
The touchscreen is designed using GFG technology (glass-film-glass). This technology combines the advantages of resistive touchscreens with the possibility of achieving SIL2-compliant input. The touchscreen can be used even when wearing gloves or with wet fingers. The luminous intensity of 1000 cd/m² is important for outdoor use, as it also guarantees good legibility in sunlight. The panel mount and VESA mount variants are supported for flexible installation in the driver's cab. All members of the display family are based on the same Cortex A9 DualCore processor architecture and can be programmed using the 'DevKit' development and support tool. Together with different display sizes and operating variants, this ensures scalability within the family and reusability of software. The tool offers over 35 ready-made widgets, the majority of which include SIL2 support. In addition, various communication protocols, such as the 'Kefex' protocol from STW, are an integral part of 'DevKit'.
