Overload-resistant and highly accurate
The design of the Flintec DSB7 series load cells, which can be integrated into the vehicle, enables uncomplicated installation without extensive modifications to the chassis.
Thanks to nominal loads of 7.5, 15 and 25 t, the load cells can be used in most commercial vehicles including light trucks, tipper trucks, refuse and recycling trucks, heavy-duty trucks and agricultural vehicles. Depending on the version, the series achieves an accuracy of better than 0.15 %, 0.25 % or 0.5 % of the compound error and a 300 % overload resistance. Each load cell is supplied with a manufacturer's test certificate. Due to the often harsh operating conditions in vehicles, the load cells are made of stainless steel, are hermetically sealed and meet the requirements of protection class IP68. The load cells are connected via a 5 m cable and a 4-pin M12 connector.
