New functions implemented
Hexagon's PC-DMIS 2019 R2 measurement software includes the 'Home Page' function for the first time, a start screen for interacting with the software.
The user is intuitively shown the content that is relevant for both the creation of measurement routines and their execution in production. The 'Home Page' gives users quick access to recently used programs and favorites directly from the start screen. In addition, folders can be created individually and measurement routines can be organized according to personal requirements. Helpful content and support services are now also available directly in 'PC-DMIS'.
The 'Area colour map' function provides users with clear, intuitive graphics for visualizing component thickness. The measured thickness is displayed in a graduated color gradient using polygon mesh or point cloud data. Deviations from the CAD model can also be displayed.
With the 'ring light migration' feature, measuring programs can be transferred from one measuring device to another with a different ring light configuration more quickly and with fewer errors.
