Four instead of two control channels
The functional scope of the Dicon touch process and program controller from Jumo has been expanded with numerous new features. Extensive regulation and control tasks can now be implemented via four control channels instead of the previous two.
This means that several control zones can be managed with just one device to save space. The process controller now offers 16 math and logic formulas as well as four timers. Time-controlled processes can also be flexibly implemented in the new version via 32 user programs and 16 control contacts. The integrated recording function also enables tamper-proof data acquisition of eight analog and 16 digital values. Thanks to the control algorithm, the modular design and the communication options via the USB host, USB device, RS422/485 Modbus master or slave, Profibus DP, Ethernet and Profinet IO device interfaces, the process controller can be individually adapted to the respective requirements.
