"There are two sides to the increasing digitalization in many areas of industry. Without a sustainable approach, it can lead to an increase in CO2 emissions. Digital sustainability, on the other hand, relies on technologies that reduce environmental impact and energy consumption. For example, with customized systems and optimized maintenance cycles, production can be leaner and more transparent, thus conserving resources.
