Industry 4.0 certification course
Two members of Smart Electronic Factory e.V. have developed an Industry 4.0 certification course in collaboration with the Bildungswerk der hessischen Wirtschaft (BWHW).
Smart Electronic Factory e.V. (SEF), together with its members from business, research and science, has set itself the task of strengthening SMEs for the challenges of Industry 4.0. This also includes breaking down barriers to digitalization.
The SEF member, the Institute for Production Management, Technology and Machine Tools (PTW) at TU Darmstadt, is also pursuing this goal with its "Industry 4.0 Certification Course". This was developed by PTW together with Bosch Rexroth and the Hessian Industry Training Center BWHW.
Certified digitization expertise
The course imparts know-how in six modules over a period of eight days spread over several months. Participants are trained in key areas of digitalization, including the basics of Industry 4.0, retrofitting production, the basics of artificial intelligence, value stream mapping, digital store floor management and Team 4.0 - breaking down barriers/working successfully.
The course offers the opportunity to acquire a certificate from the Technical University of Darmstadt, which documents successful participation. The acquisition of the certificate documents the competence acquired and the potential for use by the employer.
The next start date for the certificate course is April 16, 2024.
