Networked engineering in the cloud

Digitalization, data consistency and collaboration are the key topics that offer opportunities to improve engineering processes. OEMs/system integrators, suppliers, service providers and clients work closely together in the industrial automation ecosystem.

Close collaboration and digital data exchange are also required in internal company value chains relating to electrical automation technology and control cabinet construction.

Based on the challenges that exist today, the presentation will show where and how exactly cloud-based engineering solutions can be used along these value chains. The aim is also to achieve initial effects quickly. Ultimately, the necessary information must be made available to all participants in the ecosystem and along the processes in a way that is appropriate to their tasks and roles. Cloud solutions, services and precisely tailored apps provide the ideal basis for this. The cloud technology itself ensures the corresponding data flow.

Thomas Michels, Senior Director Cloud Business Software at Eplan, welcomes you to the presentation "Networked engineering in the cloud".

Date: November 24, SPS Connect - 11:10 - 11:30 a.m.
