IFS, provider of Industrial AI, has launched the agent-based AI platform IFS Loops. It has ten digital workers equipped with 50 agent-based capabilities to accelerate industrial processes in the manufacturing, energy and utilities, engineering, telecommunications and services industries.

IFS Loops offers ready-made digital workers that can autonomously perform frequently recurring operational tasks in an industrial environment. These include scheduling the technical field service, coordinating suppliers, managing customer orders and replenishing the warehouse. The digital employees perform these tasks company-wide with real-time intelligence, auditable compliance and domain-specific understanding. They work directly with employees to relieve them of manual tasks.

In contrast to conventional automation, RPA and generative AI, digital workers master complex workflows, make context-based decisions and continuously improve their operational performance, according to IFS. They can be embedded in IFS Cloud or used in combination with legacy systems. In both cases, they have a direct impact on operations and provide an immediate ROI. OEM capabilities enable partners to integrate agentic AI from IFS Loops into their own solutions and offerings.

"The pace of operational change is faster than ever, and complexity is increasing faster than human teams or traditional systems can handle," explains Somya Kapoor, CEO of IFS Loops. "IFS Loops provides organizations with a digital workforce they can deploy today that performs complex industrial workflows reliably, securely and contextually, freeing up human workers to focus on higher value tasks. The platform enables many organizations to take the first step towards agent-based AI and provides a natural entry point into the broader IFS Cloud ecosystem."

By December 2025, IFS wants to train its digital employees in over 50 additional skills. This will enable them to develop in parallel with the operational complexity and challenges of the industrial environment. IFS Loops Studio will also be launched in the first quarter of 2026. This solution will enable companies to create their own digital employees and quickly adapt workflows as required.
