About the speakers
Uwe Prüßmeier studied electrical engineering and automation technology at the Lippe University of Applied Sciences. He graduated from there in 1989 with a degree in engineering.
Since 1995, he has worked at Beckhoff Automation in product management for fieldbus systems, drive technology, XTS and XPlanar. His current core tasks as head of product management for drive technology, XTS and XPlanar include product definition, product support and product marketing.
Markus Sandhöfner has been with B&R since 2001. Starting in 2002, he was responsible for the expansion and sales of the B&R US subsidiary for five years. In 2008, he took on international sales manager responsibilities at the headquarters in Austria.
He has been Managing Director of B&R Industrie-Elektronik GmbH in Bad Homburg since 2014.
