Jim Hagemann Snabe succeeds Gerhard Cromme
Jim Hagemann Snabe is the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Siemens Group. He succeeds Gerhard Cromme. The latter had been a member of the Board since 2003 and its Chairman since 2017.

"The digital transformation is an enormous opportunity for Siemens, but it places completely new demands on the business in terms of skills, innovation and the speed of change," says 52-year-old software expert Jim Hagmann Snabe. He was elected as the successor to Gerhard Cromme at the constituent meeting of the new Supervisory Board at the end of January 2018. Cromme's mandate as Chairman and member of the Supervisory Board ended at the end of the 2018 Annual General Meeting.
