AI-based automatic translation
With a multilingual function, Kontron AIS extends the digitization solution 'EquipmentCloud' and thus enables the automatic AI-based translation of static texts into more than 28 languages for easy and fast international communication.
The API from DeepL is integrated, which enables machine and plant manufacturers to translate and provide the content of customer portals in more than 28 languages, ensuring efficient communication across national borders. The optional translation functionality is seamlessly integrated into all eleven modules of 'EquipmentCloud' from Kontron AIS, making it easier, for example, to send multilingual system e-mails or create checklists, templates or maintenance plans and other individual instructions. In addition, the Monitoring module is supported by the translation of KPI models, alarm classes and texts as well as machine status and process values. Content from articles and feeds as well as knowledge contributions can be translated at the touch of a button.
By dispensing with external translation agencies, 'EquipmentCloud' enables the near real-time translation of new content based on API calls. The need to prepare content in just one source language also speeds up the provision of new content. Users on the end customer side can specify their preferred language in their individual profile, which reduces language barriers, minimizes misunderstandings and optimizes international communication in the local language.
