For data-intensive IoT edge and AI applications
With the 'KBox A-151-TGL', Kontron is launching an industrial computer in box PC format that is suitable for demanding IoT edge or AI applications.
The computer is based on the 11th generation Intel Core i3-1115G4E, i5-1145GRE/i5-1145G7 or i7-1185GRE/i7-1185G7E or the Intel Celeron processor 6305E with up to four cores and 4.4 GHz each (burst) as well as a maximum memory capacity of 64 Gbytes. In addition to two DisplayPorts and two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, including a 2.5 GbE interface with TSN functionality, there are also four USB 3.2 and two RS232/422/485 interfaces. The three M.2 expansion slots, which can be used to integrate NVMe SSDs as well as fieldbuses and wireless technology such as 4G/5G or WiFi 6 connectivity, allow the system to be expanded with a wide range of functionalities. The majority of system expansions are made accessible via an expansion slot (I/O door) on the front of the system. The Kontron industrial computer can be operated in the range from 0 to +60 °C or optionally in the extended temperature range between -40 and +60 °C.
