Switches with intelligent energy management
With the E-CO switches, Lütze presents a plug-and-play family of industrial-grade Fast and Gigabit Ethernet switches.
The unmanaged E-CO (Ethernet Compact) switches with 5, 8 or 16 ports from Lütze are suitable for universal network communication in all common Ethernet environments as well as fieldbus systems such as Profinet-IO or Ethercat. In addition to enhanced performance with QoS (Quality of Services), autonegotiation, autocrossing and an error message for redundant power supply, the switches offer an AC/DC wide-range supply for 12 to 48 V (DC) and 24 V (AC). The option of supplying the switches with AC allows them to be used in building automation. Thanks to their robust and compact design, including protection class IP30, the switches are prepared for use in industry and also offer application options in the temperature range from -40 to +75 °C. The switches can be mounted either on the DIN rail or on the control cabinet wall. Another feature of the devices is intelligent energy management. This integrated extension ensures the creation of energy-saving Ethernet networks. Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) is implemented in accordance with the IEEE 802.3az standard.
