4th Markt&Technik Summit

Focus on Industry 4.0, security & cloud

A multifaceted update on Industry 4.0 & Industrial Internet, security and the cloud awaits participants at the Markt&Technik conference on the topic of "Digitalization". Registration is still possible at discounted early bird rates until September 19.

On October 18 and 19, the Markt&Technik trade fair will take place in Munich with three parallel events: the Embedded Cloud Symposium, the Security Symposium and the Industrial 4.0 & Industrial Internet Summit.

The Markt&Technik Summit Industry 4.0 is already entering its fourth round in 2016. The agenda includes more than 62 presentations on communication, big data analysis, business models 4.0, control technology, standardization, working world 4.0 and more. In addition to the VDE, this year's partners include SmartFactoryKL and the ISPO Alliance. The program is aimed at technical specialists and managers from electronics, automation and IT as well as operational management. It will take place in three parallel events with a total of five parallel tracks. Registration for one event entitles the holder to attend all parallel events. The three events will begin with a joint keynote session including a panel discussion. For the introductory keynote on "Quo Vadis Industry 4.0 - Opportunities and risks of new business models", the organizing team has secured Roland Bent, Managing Director of Marketing and Development at Phoenix Contact. Dr. Bernhard Thies(VDE|DKE / CENELEC) will then speak on "Standardization in the Industry 4.0 environment". Roland Heidel (Roland Heidel Kommunikationslösungen) will then present the reference architecture models of the Industry 4.0 platform (RAMI 4.0) and the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIRA). Finally, Dr. Lutz Jänicke (Phoenix Contact Cyber Security / Plattform Industrie 4.0) will take a turn towards security with his presentation "Secure cross-company communication - a prerequisite for Industrie 4.0".

As in the previous year, the accompanying trade exhibition will take place on both days.
