Designed as a 2-slot variant

In response to cost pressure in the automotive industry, esd electronics has added a 2-channel LIN adapter card to the 'CAN-PCIe/402' series.

The interfaces work with a bit rate of up to 20 kBit/s.

This 2-slot version provides the user with interfaces to LIN, CAN FD and CAN, as the CAN FD card is fully downward compatible. A LIN IP core was added to the 'esdACC' in the course of development. The LIN card is connected via the expansion slot on the 'CAN PCIe/402' card. It automatically recognizes the connected adapter card via an I/O expander on the internal bus.

The LIN interfaces in accordance with ISO 17987-4:2016 are accessible via the two DSUB9 connectors in the front panel of the card and work with a programmable bit rate of up to 20 kbit/s.
