Machines to be seen with AI
Embedded vision: new trends and areas of application
"Embedded Vision everywhere!?" is the title of the panel discussion organized by the VDMA as part of the Embedded Vision special show.
When machines get eyes, small, integrated and intelligent image processing systems work directly from devices and enable them to see and understand.
Embedded vision is not new, but where exactly is the technology already being used?
The panel discussion "Embedded Vision everywhere!?" will focus on new developments and applications in addition to the basics. The participants - Jan-Erik Schmitt, Vision Components GmbH, Dr. Christopher Scheubel, Cubemos, Arndt Bake, Basler, Jason Carlson, Congatec, Markus Levy, NXP Semiconductors, Bengt Abel, Still, and Frank Schäfer, CST - will also address the question of what role artificial intelligence will play.
Particularly relevant for industry and automation: What can the new embedded vision learn from classic machine vision and how can the two technologies influence and improve each other?
