Börne Rensing is the new Technical Managing Director
Wieland Electric has appointed Dr. Börne Rensing as its new Technical Managing Director. He will manage the fortunes of the company together with Bernd P. Uckrow.
Dr.-Ing. Börne Rensing will be the new Technical Managing Director of Wieland Electric (Bamberg), responsible for development and production. Rensing has over 20 years of professional experience in leading positions in the development, production and sales environment. He completed his studies in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where he also obtained his doctorate in 2004.
Since the early 2000s, he has held several management positions: as a business consultant and project manager at well-known German automotive OEMs, as division manager at a medium-sized company in the field of electric drive technology, as production division manager at HILTI and as managing director with a focus on technology and sales in a family-run mechanical engineering business.
