External temperature monitors obsolete

The safety-oriented monitoring of temperatures plays a key role in functional safety in both process engineering and mechanical engineering systems.

In thermal processing systems in steelworks or glassworks, for example, the respective combustion medium must be checked for maximum operating temperature before the burner is started and during the process. This can be done with the compact and decentralized safety controller 'samos Pro Compact' from Wieland Electric. With its analog modules, it now offers the advantage that external temperature monitors are no longer necessary - the control cabinet can therefore be smaller, which saves material and costs. Temperature probes and sensors are wired directly to the safety controller and processed in terms of safety technology.
