The '021-1SD10' and '022-1SD10' modules can be operated together with the '053-1EC01' Ethercat interface module as a slave on any Ethercat FSoE master.
They offer either four digital inputs (24 V) or four digital outputs (24 V(DC), 0.5 A), each electrically isolated from the backplane bus.
According to Yaskawa, a safety module with automatic shutdown in the event of a fault is integrated, allowing the entire system to be rated in accordance with IEC 61508 SIL3 and EN ISO 13849-1, Cat. 4/PL e.
