Vision 2021 as a real event

Messe Stuttgart is planning its machine vision trade fair Vision as a real event in October. This is made possible by the updated Corona Ordinance of the state of Baden-Württemberg. Two other trade fairs will be held in parallel.

It's official: Vision will take place as a real event in the halls of Messe Stuttgart from October 5 to 7, 2021. This was announced by those responsible on July 12. "Now that we have a planning basis with the current Corona Ordinance of the state of Baden-Württemberg from June 28, we are doing everything we can to make 2021 a successful Vision year," promises Florian Niethammer, Project Manager at Messe Stuttgart. The support and anticipation in the industry is unbroken: "Despite the dynamic pandemic situation and realistic expectations, we sense enormous anticipation and a great desire on the part of everyone involved that the machine vision industry and its customers will finally be able to meet in person again in Stuttgart."

So far, around 250 companies from various countries have registered for Vision. Nevertheless, those responsible expect the trade fair to be more focused on Europe due to the travel restrictions and quarantine regulations that are still in place. Interested parties who are unable to travel to Stuttgart this year can find all exhibiting companies in the online exhibition directory. In addition, Messe Stuttgart is broadcasting the Industrial VISION Days for the first time - live and on demand. The parallel events are also new.

This year, the Motek and parts2cleantrade fairs will take place parallel to Vision. Participants in both guest events will have the opportunity to visit VISION free of charge and find out more about machine vision.

First presentation of the Vision Award

The trade fair will be accompanied by a supporting program, which this year will focus on the Industrial Vision Days forum. The Vision Award for outstanding innovations in the field of machine vision will also be presented on this stage for the first time this year.

Other program items at the trade fair include the theme parks. In the Integration Area, system integrators and solution providers will present their offerings for various application sectors. Suppliers of industrial PCs will present themselves under the title IPC 4 Vision. In addition to the sponsored BMWi joint stand for young innovative companies from Germany, start-ups from all over Europe will showcase their ideas and innovations at the newly created Vision Start-up World.
