Due to its small size (27 mm x 27 mm x 14.5 mm), weight of only 20 g, low power consumption and high learning capability, the camera is particularly suitable for installation in cell phones, desktops and portable systems.

The Firefly DL combines the power of industrial image processing with deep learning to tackle complex problems such as face recognition or the quality verification of a solar module. The camera allows the operator to install his neural network directory on the camera, with the links taking place at the edge and on the camera.
As an open platform, 'Flir Neuro' supports frameworks such as 'TensorFlow' and 'Caffe'. 'Neuro' is a solution for mapping, locating and capturing information.
