Waterproof and compact

For use in harsh environments, Matrix Vision offers a waterproof version of the 'mvBlueCougar-X' industrial camera with the IP67C option.

The C in the name stands for compact, which is the main advantage. The watertightness has been integrated into the standard housing so that little installation space is required. The plug-in connections can be screwed on. There are two options for sealing the lens - either a standard lens is used in conjunction with a protective tube (available in lengths of 40 mm, 71 mm and 100 mm), or waterproof IP67 lenses are used. Kowa has added the latter to its portfolio as the BAM LS-VS-008 waterproof lens series.

Thanks to the various equipment options, the mvBlueCougar-X Gigabit Ethernet camera family covers the majority of possible application areas. The camera has various smart features such as flat field correction, color correction or white balance, which can be carried out directly on the camera.
