TDK-Lamda
Under power
TDK-Lambda presents current power supplies in the core markets of industry and medical technology. The company is announcing new power supplies for next year, as it needs to be prepared for the economic upturn.
TDK-Lambda traditionally gives an overview and outlook on power supplies at a press conference in the fall. This year is no exception. The effects of the coronavirus pandemic are also being felt by the power supply specialist. The company assumes that the pandemic will continue to affect the industry into 2022 and lead to restrictions. For this reason, the company has continuously adapted its digital offerings in the service and training area to meet new circumstances such as travel restrictions. Managing Director Gustav Erl emphasized that the economy would certainly pick up again and that the company would then have to be ready with new and good products.
In the medical technology sector, on the other hand, the pandemic is generating good business, as TDK-Lambda's power supplies can be found in ventilators and analysis devices, among other things. Other interesting markets for the company are industrial and automation technology as well as transportation. The power supply specialist has various DC/DC and AC/DC converters in its range for these three core markets - medical, industrial and transportation.
