Predictive maintenance via gateway

Lütze Transportation presents the TRDP gateway for the LOCC-Box Rail power monitoring system, enabling functionalities such as predictive maintenance, extended energy management and remote control and parameterization of the LOCC-Box.

With the gateway, the complete intelligence of the power monitoring system can be used via the vehicle control unit. Up to 20 LOCC boxes can be connected to the vehicle control system via the gateway and the integrated LIN (Local Interconnect Network) single-wire interface. The gateway from Lütze Transportation is 100% rail-compatible and meets all standards with regard to vibration and shock loads, EMC resistance and fire behavior. The current monitoring system records the current of connected consumers, such as LED displays and lighting, wet cells or door drives. This measurement data can be made available to the vehicle control system via the gateway.
