Peak power of 200 %
The industrial switching power supplies of the 'HRP-N' series from Mean Well expand Schukat's power supply portfolio. HRP-150N, HRP-300N and HRP-600N have an output of 150, 300 and 600 W respectively.
They are used in particular in the field of industrial control when driving motors and pumps, as they can cope with the high additional power requirement, which is significantly higher than the average power for a short period of time due to starting currents; they can supply a peak power of 200% for up to 5 seconds. This means that a power supply unit with a rated output of 150 W can provide a peak output of up to 300 W so that the electromechanical load can start up reliably. Oversized or additional power supply units for support are therefore no longer required.
The Schukat series has a wide input range of 85 to 264 V(AC) with output voltages of 12 to 48 V. Their efficiency is up to 89 % and the operating temperature ranges from -40 to +70 °C. The devices are also protected against short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overheating, are UL, TÜV, EAC, CB and CE safety-certified and comply with the EN 62368 standard.
