Convection cooling and forced air cooling
Schukat is expanding its power supply portfolio with the AC-DC switching power supply units from XP Power's ECS130 series with 130 W.
The open-frame power supply units in a compact 2x4-inch housing with one output allow both convection and forced air cooling. With convection cooling, the device can be operated with an output of up to 100 W, while the full output of 130 W is achieved with an air flow of just 10 CFM via the power supply unit. The series also offers an efficiency of up to 90 % and a power consumption of <0.5 W in idle mode. Nominal output voltages of 12 and 24 V(DC) and an input voltage range of 80 to 264 V(AC) are available.
The power supply units can be operated over a temperature range of -40 to +70 °C, with no derating up to +50 °C. The series complies with the ANSI/AMMI ES60601-1 and EN/ IEC60601-1 safety standards for medical devices with 2xMOPP as well as the IEC/EN 62368-1 standards for IT and industrial devices.
