A new function in the Automation Studio software allows developers to optimize the number and position of supply modules at an early design stage. This means that the machine can be put into operation quickly and smoothly later on. The new function for optimizing the power supply is integrated into the 'Hardware Configuration Analyzer' in Automation Studio. If there are modules that would be undersupplied in the currently planned configuration, these are highlighted. The function can also be used in existing projects. All you need to do is update the firmware version of the I/O modules.
