Large selection of digital interfaces
The high-power range of digitally programmable 3-phase 5 kW AC/DC power supply units from XP Power has been extended.
The HPL5K0 series offers constant voltage and constant current operation and, according to the supplier, the performance of a 3-phase power supply unit (3 conductors + earth) without the need for a neutral conductor, which is often not present in industrial facilities. The input voltage range is 180 to 264 V(AC). The three devices in the series offer adjustable output voltages of 60, 100 and 200 V(DC) as well as an always-on 5 V/2 A standby output.
All power supply units are equipped with functions such as Remote On/Off, Remote Sense and Power OK. The flexibility of the power supply units is due to their digital control and the wide range of digital interfaces, with I2C PMBus, RS485 and CANopen integrated, as well as RS232 or UART as an option. Thanks to the digital control, the power supply unit can be configured via a graphical user interface (GUI) without any hardware changes.
