Weidmüller takes over Emphatec
The Weidmüller Group has taken over its long-standing partner, the Canadian manufacturer of connection technology Emphatec.
Weidmüller is taking over its long-standing Canadian partner Emphatec, which specializes in individual connectivity solutions for the process industry. By taking over the team and expertise of the company from Markham (Ontario), the Detmold-based company is expanding its product portfolio in the field of PLC interfaces and migration solutions for hazardous areas. In future, the Canadian connection technology specialist will operate as the Klippon Engineering competence center.
Klippon Engineering was reorganized by Weidmüller in 2021 and is now responsible for the further development of the existing global network for engineering and service expertise for the process industry. With its own sales team, application experts and affiliated production and assembly sites, product and application-specific solutions will be developed, certified and implemented in the future.
