The Chief Financial Officer changes

André Sombecki is the new Chief Financial Officer of the Weidmüller Group in Detmold. He succeeds Jörg Timmermann, who is leaving the company at his own request on February 29, 2020.

Weidmüller's new Chief Financial Officer: André Sombecki

As CFO, Sombecki is a member of Weidmüller 's three-person Executive Board team alongside Volker Bibelhausen (Technology) and Dr. Timo Berger (Sales). Until the end of February, Sombecki and Timmermann will hold the position of CFO together. Sombecki previously held international CFO positions at ABB/Alstom, GE and SPX. For the last six years, he was Managing Director at Benteler and CFO/CEO of the Steel/Tube division.
Timmermann will become Managing Director of Kraft Maschinenbau, based in Rietberg/Mastholte.
