Simplified ordering and assembly
If enclosures are to be used as stand-alone solutions, individual enclosures such as the VX SE from Rittal offer various advantages over bayed enclosures.
In contrast to bayed enclosures with a frame and removable side panels, the single enclosure has a body made from a single piece of sheet steel or stainless steel. Moulded side panels including roof and fewer individual components significantly simplify and speed up ordering and assembly.
As the side panels and roof are already conductively connected to the frame, there is no need for separate earthing to the frame. Increased safety is guaranteed, as the lack of gaps between the sides, roof and frame, for example, prevents dirt from accumulating.
Even in its basic version, the 'VX SE' from Rittal has IP55 protection, IK10 impact protection, automatic potential equalization, high stability thanks to torsional rigidity and a load capacity of 1.5 t. For higher protection class requirements, the single enclosure is optionally available in an IP66 and NEMA 4/4x version. Integrated flange plates in the base make cable entry in the high-density enclosures particularly easy.
