A UV-resistant coating, protection class IP56 or Nema 4/3R/12 and the wide temperature range of -30 to +60 °C contribute to safe operation and resistance in outdoor areas.
According to the supplier, the cooling units' 'Blue e+' technology with an integrated heat pipe ensures high energy efficiency. Compared to conventional cooling solutions, an average of 75% energy can be saved and the CO2 footprint is also significantly lower.

According to Rittal, the cooling units are connected via an IoT interface, which enables simple remote monitoring. For example, temperatures and other parameters can be continuously monitored and automatic notifications can be sent in the event of a fault.

Together with the 'Toptec' outdoor enclosures, the cooling units form a modular system in which the enclosure and cooling unit are matched to each other. The enclosures have a double-walled design and therefore a high passive heat dissipation capacity.
