New Managing Director Operations appointed

Dr. Marc Sesterhenn is a new member of the Rittal Management Board. He has been responsible for the Operations division since October 1, 2021.

Dr. Marc Sesterhenn (48) has been appointed Managing Director Operations at enclosure and system provider Rittal as of October 1, 2021. The management area includes the German production sites in Haiger, Rittershausen and Hof as well as the international production sites in China, India, USA, Italy and England.

In his new role, Dr. Sesterhenn will focus on the further development of the international production network and the digital integration of Rittal production worldwide. The new Rittal plant in Haiger for the production of compact enclosures is already fully digitally integrated, making it a model for all locations worldwide.

Dr. Sesterhenn comes from Rohde & Schwarz in Munich, where he was most recently Executive Vice President Operations and a member of the Executive Board. He studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
