Protected against dust and splash water
The Hall-effect finger joystick of the 847 series from Megatron is manufactured to protection class IP67 and is therefore protected against dust and splash water. Its soft-touch feel enables easy and precise control of work machines in harsh environments.
Thanks to contactless Hall technology and a low-friction mechanism, the joysticks are robust and, with around 10 million switching cycles, will last the life of the machine. They are available in two design geometries with knob heights of 60 mm and 48 mm. The smaller version requires less space in all directions, which means that several joysticks can be accommodated in a smaller area. The joysticks are optionally available with a friction brake as well as detent and switching points. This equipment enables the angle-dependent switching of additional functions. The output signal of the finger joysticks is redundant as standard: Users can choose between parallel and inverse signal characteristics. Pulse width modulation (PWM) is also available as an option. When using several joysticks at the same time, five different color inserts make it easier to differentiate between the various functions.
