Plug connector for 24 V(DC)
The 24 V (DC) supply voltage is becoming increasingly important in automation technology. For a reliable power supply, continuous wiring with a conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² is required.
To ensure the power supply here, even for terminal devices with long supply lines, and to reduce the voltage drop, continuous wiring with a conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² is required. A typical area of application is tool changing or docking systems in automotive production in the press shop and body shop. Stäubli Electrical Connectors has developed the E1-6/PE contact carrier for signal and bus applications with a conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² for this application.
The 7-pin connector with silver-plated or gold-plated contacts is designed for at least 500,000 mating cycles and a rated current of 16 A. It is compatible with the existing 'E1-6PE' contact carriers from the 'DuraDock multi' series for 0.5 to 1.5 mm² conductor cross-sections.
