Stäubli is launching three new six-axis robots for the medium payload range. The TX2-140, TX2-160 and TX2-160L models complete the TX2 generation.

The standard version of the TX2-160 can reach 1710 mm, while the TX2-160L long arm version has a reach of 2010 mm. The reach of the TX2-140 is 1510 mm. The load capacity of the TX2-140/160 is 40 kg in each case; this value is reduced to 25 kg for the long arm version.

Stäubli specifies a repeat accuracy of ±0.05 mm for all three models. In combination with their dynamic values - for example, the maximum speed is 1500 °/s in axis 5 - the shortest cycle times can be realized. The models are compact and designed for cleanroom suitability: They have no external cable and hose package, but internal media and supply lines without interfering contours and a completely sealed housing with protection class IP65 (optionally with overpressure unit IP67).
