New member of the Executive Board from April
Dr. Sebastian Durst will join the Executive Board of the Weidmüller Group as COO from April 1.
To date, the three-member Executive Board has consisted of CEO and CTO Volker Bibelhausen, Chief Sales Officer Dr. Timo Berger and CFO André Sombecki. The fourth member is Dr. Sebastian Durst, Chief Operations Officer, who is responsible for Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management and Quality. According to Weidmüller, the expansion of the Executive Board is part of the growth course that the company has also embarked on in the areas of production and logistics.
Durst holds a doctorate in production and logistics and has been with the Detmold-based company since 2015. He initially coordinated the implementation of the strategy. He was then responsible for the global business with components and solutions for enclosure construction as Division Manager for six years.
