Hybrid connectors
Adapted to the customer application
Single-cable solutions with hybrid connectors (One Cable Technology, OCT) reduce the complexity of cabling and save space and costs. Hummel has various hybrid solutions in its range and focuses on the requirements of the respective customer application.
The 'M23 Hybrid', for example, is a compact all-in-one solution with power processing up to 28 A/ 600 V and data transmission according to CAT 5e up to 500 Mbit/s. The 'M40 Hybrid' can transmit power up to 55 A and 600 V and process data in accordance with CAT 5e up to 500 Mbit/s. In addition, signal contacts can be operated with up to 300 V/ 7 A. The 'M16 (12+3)' connector is suitable for a current of up to 10 A and offers a data transmission rate of up to 100 Mbps. All of the supplier's hybrid connectors are suitable for harsh environments and offer comprehensive certifications and modularity. Housing designs, inserts and contacts can be combined within the respective connector series.
