Danish bicycle manufacturer presents electric car 'SIN'

The Danish bicycle manufacturer Biomega has built its first electric car, the 'SIN', which it recently unveiled in Shanghai. The SIN is intended for urban areas and has a range of around 160 km.

The concept car is being completed in Bergkirchen near Munich, where futuristic concept cars have been produced for BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce for years. The 'SIN' is set to cost 20,000 euros and will be launched on the market between 2021 and 2023 . The electric vehicle is powered by four wheel hub motors with a system output of 60 kW. The vehicle has a torque of 160 Nm and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 13 seconds. The top speed is 130 km/h. The study has a 20 kWh battery, of which 14 kWh are permanently installed and 6 kWh are exchangeable. The individual modules can either be charged at home or at appropriate charging stations. However, new battery exchange concepts are also possible.

Furthermore, the vehicle is not only intended for personal use, but is also aimed at various car-sharing concepts.
