Engineer Powerwoman 2020

On the occasion of the 'WomenPower' career congress, Deutsche Messe is awarding the 'Engineer Powerwoman' career prize, endowed with 5000 euros, for the eighth time.

At the WomenPower career congress for women in industry 2019, Kenza Ait Si Abbou Lyadini, Deutsche Telekom IT, was named Engineer Powerwoman.

The prize is awarded to a woman who, through her commitment, her ideas or her work, has set innovative accents in the technical environment of a company or has decisively advanced it. Deutsche Messe AG 's call for nominations is open to all companies and institutions in Germany and abroad. Only one nomination per company is possible (application documents at http://www.womenpower-kongress.de). The application deadline is February 11, 2020.

The award will be presented on April 24, 2020 as part of the opening of the WomenPower Career Congress. The 'Engineer Powerwoman 2020' will be selected by an independent jury consisting of the members of the congress advisory board

'Engineer Powerwoman 2019' was Kenza Ait Si Abbou Lyadini, Senior Manager Robotics & Artificial Intelligence (Al) at Deutsche Telekom IT. Her role is to make the various Group units fit for digitalization by advising colleagues and building the best automation and AI solutions for them. She also promotes the transfer of knowledge about robotics and AI solutions both within the Group and externally.

The main sponsor of the event is Microsoft.
