Inka Krischke,

Temperature-resistant up to +140 °C

The PAC50 process sensor from Baumer measures conductivity in the smallest of spaces and is therefore particularly suitable for small production systems, for example in the food and pharmaceutical industries as well as in industrial applications.

The sensor is the 'little brother' of the 'AFI4/5' with a 60 mm long sensor housing, the display has been limited to 32 mm x 25 mm. Thanks to the one-piece design of the sensor tip, it is less affected by large and frequent temperature fluctuations. The sensor even works at temperatures of up to +140 °C. As the sensor tip is made entirely of the high-performance plastic polyether ether ketone (PEEK), it is extremely resistant to chemicals. The H version of the PAC50 is therefore suitable for CIP. The sensor housing is made entirely of stainless steel and all parts are laser-welded. In the H version, the Baumer sensor complies with the EHEDG hygiene standard for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries and is 3-A certified. All materials in contact with the media are FDA approved. The sensor is equipped with IO-Link as standard.
