Wika at the Hannover Messe
Temperature transmitter with true drift detection
Just one year after its market launch, the digital temperature transmitter 'Type T38' from Wika already has all the important international approvals and is therefore available worldwide.
According to Wika, the temperature transmitter ensures high process reliability thanks to its innovative drift detection. Its six sensor connection terminals allow countless possible combinations with input sensors. True Drift Detection is a newly developed monitoring function. Permanent monitoring using two perfectly matched sensors means that a drifting sensor can be detected immediately. This enables operators to intervene immediately in the event of faulty measurements. The temperature transmitter meets all the requirements of IEC 61508 and is designed for universal use. For needs-based integration, it is available in a head and rail version as well as in SIL and various Ex versions. All versions can be programmed via the HART protocol using a variety of open configuration tools.
