Stefan Lampa becomes new CEO
Proglove, a German provider of wearable scanner solutions for human-centered productivity, has appointed Stefan Lampa as CEO, who previously held senior positions at automation and logistics companies such as ABB, Kuka Roboter and Cargotec.
With more than 30 years of experience, the new CEO will use his expertise to continue Proglove's international growth trajectory. Lampa will take up his position on March 1, 2023, succeeding Andreas König, who is stepping down for personal reasons.
Stefan Lampa has a background as an engineer and gained important experience in the fields of digitalization and Industry 4.0. Before joining Proglove, he was President at Cargotec Corporation. As CEO of Kuka Roboter, Lampa refocused the company to address the industrial market as an extension of the traditional automotive business. Lampa also has extensive management experience, including 23 years at ABB. He spent six years there, including as Global Head of Robots & Applications.
Founded in 2014, Proglove develops innovative wearable scanner solutions that increase productivity in warehouses and on production lines. The company's customers include companies such as BMW, DHL, Gap Inc. and Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services. The wearable tech pioneer employs more than 350 people from over 30 countries.
