Sensor+Test 2021 will take place digitally

Real, virtual and hybrid - this was the motto under which Sensor+Test was to take place in Nuremberg from May 4 to 6, 2021. It has now been decided to hold the trade fair entirely as a digital event instead.

Due to the ongoing critical risk situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and further uncertainties regarding the implementation of major events, the organizer and exhibitor advisory board, together with the board of the AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement, have decided to hold the trade fair completely digitally, as in 2020. While the exchange of information between exhibitors and visitors has already worked well in recent months via various online channels and has been very well received, this year's Sensor+Test will significantly expand its digital possibilities, according to the organizers, and thus become a digital event with the greatest possible benefit for visitors and exhibitors.

On the three actual days of the trade fair, visitors can expect interesting topics along the entire measurement technology chain. In numerous parallel specialist forums, interested parties can find out about the technologies and trends in the industry throughout the day. After the live or video presentations, there will be the opportunity for a direct exchange and dialog with the experts. Each presentation can also be viewed afterwards.

Exhibitors will present their innovations and information in sessions of varying lengths in these staggered specialist forums. The planned special topic 'Sensors and measurement technology for condition monitoring' will also be included.

The SMSI 2021 - Sensor and Measurement Science International conference (May 3 to 6, 2021), which is planned to run parallel to Sensor+Test, will also focus on the virtual space. Over four days, national and international participants from research, science and industry will network in four parallel sessions. The SMSI offers a platform for the exchange of the latest research results.
