Inelta sensor systems

Inka Krischke,

Portfolio expanded

Inelta has expanded its portfolio of ring force sensors so that the 'RKT60' series sensors are now available for four nominal loads (5, 10, 15 and 20 kN).

The series from Inelta in a compact stainless steel molded body offers a low overall height and mechanical overload protection. The sensors are also available in a potted version to protect against contact, dust and moisture. Model variants with an integrated measuring amplifier are also available. These units with strain gauge full bridge, stainless steel deformation body and flat contact surface are insensitive to eccentrically acting forces. Another new product is the RKT120 series of ring force sensors with IP67 protection and a nominal force of 10 kN. The encapsulated sensors are protected against dust and moisture and have a compact stainless steel deformation body, a low overall height and integrated electronics with an electrically isolated safety function for testing the measuring bridge. Designed for a temperature range of -15 to +75 °C, the series integrates a measuring amplifier with analog output and is also tolerant of transverse forces due to the convex force application.
