Heat-Resistant with Long Switching Distance
The high-temperature inductive sensors of the NBN...-F135 series from Pepperl+Fuchs offer a switching distance of up to 50 mm. The integrated IO-Link interface in the amplifier allows integration into Industry 4.0 applications.
Sensors are available with variable cable lengths, and each component can be replaced individually. The inductive sensor sets can be used at temperatures up to +250°C, and the switching distance drift is typically below 5%. Sensor heads can be replaced without re-parameterization of the amplifier, and adjustment of the switching distance via potentiometer is unnecessary. The IO-Link interface enables continuous communication between control and field levels, including sensor head status and limit warnings for predictive maintenance. In addition, a switch cycle and operating hour counter is integrated. Multiple sensor heads can be synchronized-both in SIO and IO-Link modes-when arranged in series. The devices are available with fixed cables or a detachable connector, with cable lengths between 1 and 30 meters to facilitate installation. Flush mounting on metal minimizes the risk of sensor head damage .
