The sensors from Balluff are fully encapsulated, which makes them resistant to vibrations, shocks and other environmental influences - they are designed with protection class IP64. Bright LEDs indicate the operating status and enable reliable diagnostics. The features of the fork light barriers include six different designs and a uniform fork width of 5 mm. The connection is made with a 4-pin M8 standard plug, flat plug or cable. The switching frequency is specified as up to 3 kHz. The fork light barriers are used in industries such as battery production, 3C and semiconductors. In battery production, for example, the fork light barriers are used to position robotics and transport systems in order to place the anode/cathode plates quickly and correctly on top of each other.
