Angst+Pfister
FoxSense Parox acquired
Angst+Pfister, supplier of mechanical and electronic components for the industrial and medical OEM market, has acquired the paramagnetic oxygen business of FoxSense (The Parox Company).
FoxSense is a Swiss company that develops and manufactures the internationally established Parox brand of high-precision paramagnetic oxygen sensors and analyzers for industrial OEM applications. Jacques Faber, owner and CEO, has decided to sell the Parox business to Angst+Pfister in order to further develop the product alongside a globally active and well-connected partner in the sensor industry. The transaction focuses on the continuity of existing customer relationships and the long-term safeguarding of the partnership.
Angst+Pfister will continue to operate the FoxSense business in the subsidiary 'Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power' (formerly Pewatron). Jacques Faber will drive forward the further development of gas sensors at Angst+Pfister as Head of Development and will be supported by Volker Huelsekopf as contact person on the market side.
Volker Huelsekopf has been working in the field of gas sensor technology for more than 15 years and was involved in the founding of Smartgas Mikrosensorik, where he was responsible for sales and marketing. He joined the Angst+Pfister team at the beginning of 2023 in the field of oxygen measurement, with a special focus on paramagnetic O2 sensors from FoxSense.
